I love the ocean - especially in the pacific northwest. Its many moods and colors always affect me. In my latest painting (The View) I tried to capture the movement and emotion through line and layers; the colors slowly transitioning from the close water through the horizon to the sky above. Take a moment to look and feel the calming effect of the sea.
