End of summer

(Having issues with computer access so I'm a little behind on the blog...)

Summer seems much longer when you are a child, but always went by too fast! These days summer is over in the blink of an eye with never enought time to do all you want to. My latest piece is about the hurried days we live. Underneath the layers I am trying to capture the small things that if we are lucky, we don't miss. The beginning stages of this idea should be posted by the end of the week.

Though I love the green, long days of summer I've always felt a stronger kinship with the transitional seasons of fall and spring. My work entitled "Fire" posted on this blog was inspired by the colors and weather of autumn; I hope you feel the leaves crunching, the wind gusting and the cool nights as you look. Enjoy!
